Volunteer with Hooma Hu
Join us for volunteer days
Wednesdays - 11am to 3pm

Every Wednesday, we invite volunteers to help grow fresh, healthy vegetables using natural fertilizers and sustainable methods. While we are not organic certified, we are committed to avoiding harmful chemicals and pesticides, and follow a no-dig growing system that nurtures the soil and encourages biodiversity.

Whether it's because you want to learn about food production or feel you have skills you would like to share or need time in nature you are very welcome and your help is very much appreciated.
Volunteering with us offers:

Hands-on experience with planting
harvesting, and other vegetable-growing tasks

Learning about natural fertilizing and no-dig farming techniques

Building connections within a friendly, community-focused environment

An opportunity to get people together, learning and sharing skills

Beneficial for your physical and mental health

Supporting a small local business dedicated to sustainable and chemical-free farming
We ensure a safe, welcoming space with clear health and safety guidance.
Just bring suitable clothes and footwear, and a willingness to get involved!
Interested? Reach out or drop by any Wednesday to join our Hooma Hu volunteer team.
