Presenting a new nature friendly farming enterprise near Llansadwrn! A share farming venture between new farming entrant Ellie, and the Slater Family from Glanmarlais Farm, the aims are to produce delicious, healthy and nutritious food whilst continually maintaining and enhancing soil health and the farm's  biodiversity. 
 
Having been certified organic for many years, Glanmarlais encompasses a lovely mix of diverse pasture land, forest, windy hilltops and the Marlais river from which it takes its name.

The first of our enterprises is the flock of laying hens to provide yummy eggs! The chicken's houses are on wheels, which allows them to be moved over the land. This means they naturally fertilise the soil, aerate the pasture with their scratching, and regularly get to enjoy fresh grass and bugs in their range. It's a win win!

The eggs will be certified organic at our next inspection in January.
