Mini Update 27/9/26

Bore da everyone! 🌿

It’s been a little quiet on here lately. I (Rita) have taken some time out to focus on our little Auri, while Will has been working hard in the fields, office and packing shed to keep bringing you delicious, healthy produce.

This week’s boxes are packed with nutritious leafy brassicas: sprout tops, sprout leaves, cabbagettes and kale. 🥬

We’ve planted an experimental later crop of fennel in the polytunnel – fingers crossed it’ll be ready by late October/early November.

Tomatoes have been underplanted with endive to save space in our beds. As the endives mature and start appearing in our mixed salad bags, the tomato plants will come to the end of their season.

Our early sprouts will be ready for their first pick in the next few weeks – watch this space!

And the big exciting news: our new vegetable packing shed is really taking shape! The internal waterproof flooring is going in now, and the external waney‑edge wood cladding is next. It’s looking great. 🏚️✨
