Russet Apples are a variety of Apples that have a covering, partial or whole, of "russet". These are dark green or brown rough patches on the outside of the Apple. Although less cosmetcally beautifull than the modern commercial apple they are a more traditional apple and are associated with very aromatic flavours. Grown in the Herefordshire Borders with Wales
